Wagon Master Guidelines

 

The wagon master is generally responsible for selecting the Rally site and making the arrangements for our group to stay there.  His work will usually end up with signing a contract between the Discovery Club and the resort facility.  He is also in a position to assist the Trail Boss in many ways, later on.  

 

In most casses, the agreement will be between the wagon master and an official at the resort, which we will call the Resort Facility Group Coordinator.  If possible, these arrangements will be done several months prior to the actial Rally dates.  

 

The following form is offered as a guide only to assist the wagon master, both as a reminder, and in documenting significant information, agreements, and contract requirements.  It has proven to be very useful in this way.
